Privacy notice

Last updated 18 October 2026

This notice covers the OcuGrid website, ocugrid.com. It explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what we do with it.

What the website collects

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Like any web host, our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Pilot applications

If you apply for the pilot, the form collects your name, work email, clinic or organisation, role, and anything you choose to tell us about the devices you use and how you would use OcuGrid. We use these details only to assess your application and reply to you. We don't sell them or use them for marketing lists.

Please don't include any patient information in the form.

Where it is stored

The website and the form are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which stores form submissions on servers that may be outside Australia, including in the United States. We keep applications only as long as we need them to run the pilot, then delete them.

Scan data

This notice doesn't cover patient scans. Scan data in the OcuGrid service is hosted locally in Australia and is handled under a separate agreement with each participating clinic.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by replying to any email we send you about your application. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
